This Rock/Blues ACC tune was written and originally recorded in about 2016, (onto an iPhone 4!), as I was sneaking back into making music after a long, long time away. Both guitars and the bass are still those original GarageBand tracks, with the vocals re-recorded on "real gear" a few years ago, and drums reprogrammed as well, to upgrade the effort while attempting to keep its raw freshness. This track moves in a classic 6/8 Blues feel, and carries a positive message and a Christian theme. It opens with a sizzling electric guitar line, that tastefully weaves in and around the lyric... And thirsty ears will be served a bit more harmonic interest than your simple twelve bar, three chord offering.
Blues? Rock? Gospel? Yes! This song leaps out of the Adult Christian Contemporary box at the first note, and refuses to be dragged back in. Hope you enjoy it.
